 PROFESSIONAL PROFILE OF PROF. ROBERT MORAWSKI, PIANIST

 TALENT: When Robert Morawski began playing one of Franz Schubert's Songs at our first meeting and first hearing (1995), I was delighted with the beauty of his sound. I had not heard a similar sound from anyone else in my studio.

      From that first moment, I knew that this was a young man endowed with a treasure: the beauty, without which any performance of music is sterile, even if  based on a semblance of professional perfection.

      Our further meetings were still permeated with the atmosphere of that first contact. It is dominant the feature was a dialogue based on freedom of choice and mutual trust.

DIALOGUE: In my opinion, the dialogue at the university level, i.e. between a student and a professor, especially in an artistic, i.e. creative university,  happens away  from dogmas, doctrines, laws, falsely understood rules and the like, and requires freedom, mutual respect for differing opinions and different personalities of the professor and the student. Professor Robert Morawski was able to give it all to his students.

PARTNERSHIP: Throughout the entire period of his studies, our relationship with Robert Morawski was based on the above-mentioned concepts. Their dominant feature was and probably will always remain, the ordinary human partnership understood in its broadest sense. The student-professor relationship based on this foundation was a fascinating phenomenon of creating reality.

        Robert Morawski realizes the idea of musical partnership in his intense and varied pianistic activity on stage. His solo and ensemble  performances are always professionally perfect, delighting his audience with an attractive interpretation, natural narration, and listening comfort. 

TEACHING: I have not had an opportunity to attend  Robert Morawski's lectures, but  in  the opinions of his students shared with me, I can hear  the sense of  joy and satisfaction  of having a chance to participate in an attractive dialogue with the Professor.

ORGANISATION: I mean by it everything that is not directly connected with music itself, but concerns the collective confrontation of views, exchange of information and the search for common, optimal solutions to the challenges of collective performance. This refers to  seminars, problem-oriented conferences, symposia, etc., initiated and conducted by Robert Morawski, which are excellently organized, arouse livelily interest and  active participation of the audience.

LECTURES: Robert Morawski's lectures at the aforementioned events are distinguished by his clear and comprehensible concepts,  excellent control, great diction, natural contact with the audience, logic, and attractiveness his presentations.

FAMILY: Robert Morawski is a very harmonious personality. It manifests itself in a wide range of his professional interests, but also, what I consider as particularly praiseworthy, in his family life.
